How To Submit Your Website To 3 Big Search Engines In Singapore

Google, Yahoo! and Bing are the top 3 major search engine player in Singapore and generally the world. It is very important to submit your site’s pages to all these major search engines because even though the other engines have less traffic than Google, they still have millions of users. After submission, it may take two to six weeks for your website to get indexed. If you are unhappy with your web page’s ranking results, take a look at what your competition is doing. Make sure you are following the basic rules of search engine optimization. Make changes to the page and resubmit it to the search engines. You can submit your pages a maximum of two times per month until you are listed in the major search engines’ results.

Here’s how you can submit your website to each of them.

Google
Website submission to Google is easy. Just go to Google’s web page for URL submitting here, type in your URL, type in the message that ensures Google you are a legit person and not a robot and click “add URL.”

Alternatively, you can also submit your site map to Google via their Webmaster Tools.

Yahoo!
Yahoo! website submission is also relatively easy but it requires registration. Follow the instruction from this page. Yahoo! also has a paid submission process that is called Directory Submission if you require.

Bing
Visit Bing’s site submission page here, type in the URL of your homepage (this is different than Google and Yahoo!). Bing also requires you to identify yourself as a person, not an automated program, by typing the characters that you see in the picture.
